YOUNG Model 06206 Wind Tracker

The YOUNG Model 06206 Wind Tracker is a compact wind speed and direction display with advanced features such as relative wind angle and NMEA serial I/O, suitable for onboard use.
Compatible with most YOUNG wind sensors (excluding voltage output models), it displays instantaneous wind speed and maximum gust values in your choice of mph, m/s, km/hr, or knots. Wind direction is clearly shown on a circular LED pattern.
Bold front-panel graphics quickly indicate wind angle relative to vessel heading.
Brightness control allows adjustment under any lighting for optimal viewing. Illuminated front-panel markings ensure visibility even in dark wheelhouses. Voltage output (0-5 VDC) is a standard feature.
The display operates directly from 12 or 24 VDC power (12-30 VDC, 3.5W); dual power supply (110 VAC / 230 VAC) is included.
The wind tracker can be enabled to display averages. Alarm relay connections are available for both wind speed and direction. The upper-right display can also be set to digitally show relative wind direction to the bow instead of maximum gust.
Multiple displays can be used with a single sensor.
The marine wind tracker is very compact, facilitating installation on vertical bulkheads or consoles.

Optional Model 06280 rack-mount panel allows installation into standard 19-inch rack-mount instrument panels (Model 06282 rack-mount panel accommodates two displays).

Model 06260 weather shield provides additional protection in damp or dusty environments.
